Viewing architecture

The shared comic viewport reads bounded archive sources and decodes only visible and neighboring images.
  1. 1ZIP and TAR use file ranges.
  2. 2RAR and 7z load a separate Worker and WASM module.

Main limitations

  • — No encryption or split archives.
  • — Compressed input 64 MiB; expansion 128 MiB.
