Limits and conditions

  • No encryption, split archives, links or special TAR entries
  • Compressed comics: 64 MiB input, 128 MiB total expansion; sequential extraction before reading
  • 5,000 pages, 16 MiB and 8 million pixels per page; TAR input up to 2 GiB

CBR: How does a solid archive work?

It is extracted once within fixed limits; subsequent page jumps use local encoded images. Opening does not decode all images.
