IMPLEMENTATION

3MF is a ZIP-based manufacturing package containing an XML model and package relationships. Unlike a bare STL triangle list, it can describe reusable components and their placement in a build. Anyfile follows the package's model relationship and displays supported mesh objects in their build positions.
Common question
Does opening 3MF also load my slicer settings?
The viewer focuses on the model and build geometry. Application-specific print profiles, plate settings and generated toolpaths are not interpreted as a slicing project.
Why keep 3MF instead of exporting STL for preview?
A supported 3MF package can retain component placement and explicit units that a basic STL does not describe. Converting to STL can discard that context.
