Common question

Why is my STL shown in one color?

This viewer renders the triangle geometry with a uniform material. Vendor-specific binary color conventions are not used to reproduce the original appearance.

Can STL preview tell whether the model is in inches or millimeters?

No. STL does not supply a standard explicit length unit. Confirm the export setting in the source application before choosing units in a slicer.
