How Anyfile's Modern Image Viewer Works

The probe tests browser decoding first, then the complete viewer loads only the decoder required by the selected image.

Viewing architecture

  1. 1Native decoding is preferred when it is available.
  2. 2JPEG XL or HEIF WebAssembly is loaded after plugin selection.

Main limitations

  • — Large images remain bounded by browser memory.
  • — Advanced metadata is not a complete format inspector.
