Open HEIC and HEIF Images Online

HEIC commonly stores phone photos in a HEIF container using HEVC compression. Anyfile tries a real native decode first, then loads its local HEIF decoder when the file and browser require it.

Your file stays on this device

Anyfile reads only the local file you select. Parsing, decoding and rendering happen in this browser tab; the file is not uploaded to Anyfile servers.

What Anyfile can show

  • Decoded primary image
  • Dimensions and supported image sequences

Limits and conditions

  • Auxiliary depth images and edits are not reconstructed
  • Large images depend on browser and WebAssembly memory
