Open GeoTIFF Raster Images Online

GeoTIFF embeds georeferencing keys and tags inside a TIFF raster so GIS software can place pixels on the earth. Anyfile decodes supported TIFF imagery, but currently presents it as an image rather than a projected map.

Your file stays on this device

Anyfile reads only the local file you select. Parsing, decoding and rendering happen in this browser tab; the file is not uploaded to Anyfile servers.

What Anyfile can show

  • Supported TIFF strips, tiles and image pages
  • The decoded raster at its stored pixel dimensions

Limits and conditions

  • Coordinate reference systems and map projection are not visualized
  • Uncommon TIFF compression or very large rasters may only expose structure

Common question

Will a GeoTIFF appear on a map in Anyfile?

No. The current viewer shows decoded raster pixels; use GIS software when you need geospatial placement, layers or measurement.
