How Anyfile's DJI Osmo Panorama Viewer Works

The viewer validates OQ001 photo metadata or the OSV track layout, then decodes the equirectangular JPEG or both HEVC lens tracks and renders an interactive panorama without uploading the file.

Viewing architecture

  1. 1A bounded EXIF/XMP or ISO BMFF probe validates the supported camera layouts.
  2. 2Mediabunny performs local range reads and WebCodecs decoding; WebGL applies lens-specific focal, center and rotation calibration measured from the supplied OSV samples.

Main limitations

  • — Video playback requires HEVC Main 10 WebCodecs support on the current device.
  • — Gyro stabilization, HDR-accurate output and DJI private metadata are not applied.
