What Anyfile can show
- Supported glTF 2.0 scene nodes, meshes and materials
- Local buffer data and supported image textures from the selected workspace
- First-person walkthroughs of architectural scenes, with viewpoint placement and eye height in meters
- Orbit, object visibility and return to the previous overview
Limits and conditions
- Missing binary buffers can prevent opening; missing images can leave geometry visible without some textures
- Required Draco, meshopt and BasisU compression extensions cannot be decoded
- 128 MiB model input and 128 MiB related-resource budget; WebGL 2 required
IMPLEMENTATION
Viewers responsible for this format
A .gltf file is the JSON description of a scene: nodes, meshes and materials can reference separate buffers and textures. Keep the export folder intact when opening it in Anyfile. The viewer resolves supported local dependencies and displays the scene without using remote resource URLs.
Common question
Why does selecting only the glTF JSON fail?
The scene may reference a .bin buffer that contains the actual vertex data. Select its folder with the companion files and preserve relative paths so the reader can find them.
Will remote glTF textures be downloaded?
No. This viewer resolves local or supported embedded resources. Export the dependencies into a local folder if the scene originally points to network resources.
